It encompasses everything I hold important in my life and I pander to an audience as complex and easily amused as I am.
Today, I might be talking about my extensive Funko collection and showing you pictures of my favorites. Tomorrow I could be sharing tips to help you blog better. I like showing you hand-made items (I love me some Etsy, okay!?) and products I’ve enjoyed using. Never a dull moment… especially when I get personal.
Yes, unlike a lot of blogs out there… I tend to break it down and keep you in the know about my life. I’m just like you. I have my bad days and my own life problems that I’m dealing with such as my fight with infertility or stressing out over every day things.

I am originally from New Orleans, LA but I consider Colorado very much home. How did I end up in South Carolina then? You’d have to read my Origin Story to learn about that mess. Either way, here I am!
I’m one of those full-fledged adult things or so I think I am now that I am 30 years old, have a mortgage and 3 cats. That’s totes adulting, right? Wait… do the kids even say ‘totes’ any more? Crap.
This blog is my life. Uhh metaphorically and literally speaking. It pays the bills usually and it provides me with a much needed creative outlet that hopefully other people can enjoy and find some sort of comfort in.
This is Jeremy Kinsey.
He doesn’t have a cool superhero name.
He’s from around here… sort of. He lived in upstate South Carolina for most of his life, but also spent several years living in Hawaii where he was stationed during his time in the Navy.
Jeremy while younger than I am is arguably adultier (wait, is that even a word?). He has one of those respectable job things that unfortunately takes him out of town often. He programs power monitoring systems for large data centers. I can’t tell you where he works, but let’s just say… You’re welcome.
My rock. The love of my life. This guy is amazing and I am truly lucky we found our way to one another despite the odds and curve balls in life.
This is Bruce, Oliver, & Harley
Affectionately named after DC characters, of course.
We are happily owned by 3 cats and consider ourselves lucky that while they are often dumb, they seem to genuinely love us and one another. I cannot imagine our lives without them because the joy and snuggles that comes with having them around is priceless.
BRUCE: The chillest of the bunch, this little boy is my heart. He’s such a different cat now that we’ve moved into a house where he has lots of space. He enjoys being around his humans and occasionally loves getting attention from them. His favorite place to hang out is our screened patio. He doesn’t like to be told to come inside – he’d rather hang out and stare at nature all day.
OLIVER: A Momma’s boy through and through, you’d never know that this cat used to be alpha. Oliver craves the attention from anyone who might give it to him – especially new people! Otherwise, he’s content to lay on Meowmie and suckle his paw. Oliver is most often found hanging out in the cat tree snoozing, or snuggling somewhere with twin brother Bruce.
HARLEY: She may be the youngest of the 3, but don’t let her age fool you: This girl rules the house. What Harley wants, Harley gets! She’s very commanding in her desire for attention and makes her wishes well known. I swear, Harley is always snoozing somewhere – often in places where no one is hanging out. She likes her alone time as much as she likes company.
