About a week ago, I introduced Jeremy to Minecraft. I suspected he’d think it was stupid or he’d play it for a day and put it down. I was wrong… oh I was very wrong. He’s playing it more than I am! Inspired by Jeremy’s new found love for Minecraft, I thought I’d round up my favorite hand-made items that every Minecrafter needs in their life!

 

Minecraft Inspired Vinyl Wall Decal

When I saw this, my eyes lit up like the fourth of freaking July. When we get a house, I want this so badly. In case you are confused by its awesomeness… it’s decals meant to put on your wall to look 3D as if someone has been mining your walls. I bet my walls will be full of diamonds and redstone. What about yours?

 

Custom Hand-Painted Minecraft Sneakers

I’ll admit that I always look at hand-painted shoes and lust after them. I like these because they are really well done and I think the design is fun. The best part is that they are relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of other hand-painted shoes. I think these would be adorable with a pair of shorts so you can rock them out during the summer (haha get it… rock?).

 

Minecraft Chest

You’re going to need a chest for all of that loot you’ve been mining every day. How about this Minecraft inspired chest? Okay at about 5″ wide, it maybe won’t fit loads of diamonds and gold… but it might hold your jewelry. Close enough. Best part is that you don’t have to provide the oak planks yourself!

 

Minecraft Grass Dirt Block Mouse Pad

If you’re mining it up (err mining it down?) computer style, then you need the right Minecraft mouse pad to get you in the mood. Am I right? Of course I am. I really like the printed fabric topped mouse pads. I have one myself and it works extremely well – no fading and the mouse pad has already held up for a couple of years of major use. I highly recommend getting one of these.

Minecraft Diamond Ore Lamp

This is a 3D printed lamp inspired by Minecraft diamond ore. Sorry, it’s not really made of diamonds… but it is made of environmentally friendly PLA plastic! Item is roughly 3.25″ squared. It has a blue USB powered LED light to help you see while you’re mining for the real diamond ore. Comes with built in 10 ft USB cable and power adapter.
