I hear a lot about Funko collectors sticking to certain genres or groupings of Funko in an attempt to keep their collecting under control. I get it… my collection is all over the place. I do however have sub-collections that I work on and some are close to completion, or complete by my own standards (because do I really need 3 of the same television character?). I thought I’d share my favorite and closest to complete Funko set with you today.
Are You Even Surpised?
I’ve shown you several pieces of my Doctor Who Funko Pop collection before, but my set has only grown since then… as all good Funko collections should. Yes, I know there’s still quite a few missing – a few more rare or expensive exclusives as well as some commons that I don’t have interest in spending money on right now. In total, I have over 20 Doctor Who related Funko (some are not pictured as they were unfortunately broken in transit) and I’m sure I will end up with more!
My Fourth Doctor is a Barnes & Noble Exclusive from 2015. He’s holding some jelly babies in his hand. Yum! He’s one of those Funko I probably didn’t need. I’m going to be real y’all… I am a horrible Whovian because I haven’t watched Classic Who. I mean, I’ve seen some episodes of course – just not a lot. He was a really nice looking Funko Pop and so I bought him. I am really hoping that they eventually create one of each regeneration. I’d LOVE to have them.
I know of Sarah Jane and K-9 because of the 10th Doctor and that weird episode with the school staff turning into monsters and controlling the students and/or eating them. What was it called? School Reunion? Sounds about right. I know she’s the 4th Doctor’s companion so I bought her eventually as well. Plus K-9 is freaking awesome!

I’ll never forget the day I met Rose Tyler. She changed my world. She wasn’t my first companion, just like #9 wasn’t my first Doctor. Nevertheless, they are at the heart and soul of my love for this show. I love the innocence of Rose and the way the 9th Doctor swaggers in because he’s legitimately believes he knows what he’s doing. Don’t forget… always bring a banana to a party! This 9th Doctor is a Hot Topic exclusive and he’s holding a banana! So funny.
I know, I know. A “true” Whovian would reject the love story between 9 and Rose, but I relish in it. I think it’s so amazing that this alien race with all his vast power and knowledge could fall in love with someone as simple as Rose – so intensely that he chose to physically transform into a younger, more conventionally attractive form that she would find appealing. He made choices for her, destroyed suns for her, broke rules for her.
I love my Dalek Funko, but they break so easily! I have some other Funko including this really cool looking Evolving Dalek Sec, but they are the ones that got broken. I dropped them from about 3 feet up onto carpeted floor and BAM… broken into several pieces. The out of box struggle is real.

Don’t Blink because you’ll miss out on one of my favorite Doctor Who Funko (and get sent back in time to live to death by that Weeping Angel Funko). Those are no ordinary 3D glasses – they detect void stuff. This is yet another Hot Topic exclusive Funko Pop. I think he looks really neat and the glasses make it more obvious as to who the heck he is. So cute!
Funny story: I have 2 Adipose Funko. Oops. We totally thought that I didn’t have it. In fact, I mentioned several times on my blog all about how I still needed it when it turns out, I’ve had it for a while. Ha! I do wish they were smaller. They are big, heavy Funko by comparison (well, I guess that makes sense since they represent fat). I think they would have been really cute if they were half the size of a regular Funko Pop.
Oh Captain, my Captain… Jack Harkness that is. Honestly, one of my favorite side-companions as I call them. Captain Jack Harkness pushes the envelope and teaches the ultimate in self love and equality. He isn’t biased… he’ll hug (and probably kiss) just about anyone. Funny how much the actor who portrays him (John Barrowan) is so much like his character.
Yes, that Weeping Angel is SCARY. Please be careful with this post. I’ll do my best to keep an eye on it so you can finish reading, okay? Aaaaand GO!

I scored this 2015 SDCC Exclusive 11th Doctor with “Handles” (his Cyberman head friend there) last year. Okay, so not the exact representation that made me fall in love with Doctor Who (oh yes… Eleven is MY Doctor), but a wonderfully made Funko Pop regardless. Anyone else think it’s hilarious that he has no eyebrows!? Haha!
The only water in the forest is the river… and the only bad ass lady with a gun allowed around my Doctor is River Song! I mean, she’s technically his wife after all, so I suppose I have to allow such a thing. So glad she came with a stand. She’s really top heavy.
The Cyberman Funko are really cool looking. They did a great job with the details on these. I’m glad Funko put forth the effort on them because it shows. DELETE DELETE DELETE.
I swear… I thought there was something else in this picture. Must have forgotten…

Who can resist a Tardis Funko Pop!? I know you’ve been wondering, and yes… that is legitimately a Funko Pop. Can you believe it!? Ha! The little door opens as shown and you can actually fit Funko in there. Right now, I have the 12th Doctor set up in there being the current version of The Doctor.
Yet another Hot Topic Exclusive Funko, my 12th Doctor is harnessing his trusty spoon, which he used to battle Robin Hood in Sherwood Forest! I love hos shiny his shoes are and how detailed everything is – down to the ring on his left hand (which I now realize, you can’t see in my picture… oops).

Do you own any Doctor Who Funko?
I’d love to know which ones you have, and which ones you wish you owned! I’m betting plenty of you Whovians out there have more than I do. There are several other versions of the Doctors that I’d like to have if they happened to fall into my lap (err Funko I mean… get out of the gutter). But I just don’t know that I need 3 versions of the same “person”, ya know?
