Wow everybody! What an amazing week it has been. I don’t know where the time went. One minute I was like “Oh it’s Friday!” and next thing I know, it was Tuesday and I didn’t know how I ended up there already. Not complaining of course – today is one of 2 very well deserved days off from my day job. Hooray!
So what’s been going on in my corner of the blog-o-verse? Lots of good things. Lot’s of announcements to be made and lots of love to share!
The winners for 2 Giveaways I was hosting here have been contacted. I am still waiting for the winner of my Free Ad Space for Life to respond to me. I hope she is reading and checks her email soon. I’d love to get that ad started for her.
Don’t forget that I have a whole new set of advertisement / sponsorship choices for 2015 – including purchasing one of those coveted forever ad spaces in the form of a Post Featurette. You can get 15% off of your first purchase by using promo code 15IN15.
I’m happy to announce that the winner of the Activated Charcoal Soap has been contacted and her soap should be on its way to her soon! Congratulations to @Jennaync29 who won by following me on Twitter… which you should totally be doing because obviously, it’s awesome.
Remember that you can still order the Activated Charcoal Soap directly from Heather on Etsy! The soap itself is just $4 (plus shipping of course) and she’s still giving my readers 15% off with the promo code KIMIWHO15.
Other Stuff You Might Have Missed…
I’m having a $10 Starbucks card giveaway over at My So Called Chaos. Besides the fact that there could be free coffee in your future, you really should go check our Angie’s blog. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing she is, but I’m going to try anyways!
I have a little confession to make. I was given the opportunity as part of my sponsorship to have a guest post. I even chose what I would write about a while back and just didn’t get around to finishing the post. I spoke with Angie about it on January 16th (Friday) and told her that I would be working on it that evening. I was actually busy writing another post and by the time I finished, I was exhausted.
I never finished my post. She said it was no biggie and to have it to her by the start of the week. This seemed totally feasible but next thing I knew, it was Tuesday yesterday and my phone was going off at work – Angie was posting about me on Instagram and Twitter. She’d gone through the trouble to write this amazing feature post for me instead. Irony being – she featured my post about how to be a good blog sponsor. I totally dropped the ball. Being late on finishing your guest post is not the way to be a good sponsor. I’m so sorry again Angie! Thank you for being so understanding and thoughtful.
Neri over at Mama Needs Mana is looking to form a meal plan for each week. I love the honesty of her posts about it. She’s right… it’s a great look at food made by a mere mortal. So if the Pinterest-worthy food images of the world are getting you down, consider checking out her blog posts about her weekly meal planning adventures complete with real pictures of food. Gosh, I really need to be planning this all out myself too…
Jeremy and I started new gym memberships at Planet Fitness on Monday. I didn’t work out for long, knowing well that I had a full day of work Tuesday Joke is on me because I am feeling it more today. I feel kind of swollen and just sore in general. It could be worse, I’m sure. We’re going back today since it’s my day off – that gives me all of Thursday to rest! I’m excited put nervous about sharing this journey. I even sort of told the entire world how much I weigh in hopes of keeping myself accountable.
I just made a new blogger friend. That Gal Jenna totally loves nail polish and cats. I think we’ll get along! I love so much this post about her 5 cats (yes, 5!) and how they came to be a part of her family. It has some really cute pictures of her cats over the years. So much cute… I can’t even.
I got rid of some nail polish in my Great Nail Polish Purge. I’m really excited to see so many people who ‘get it’. I get teased often by friends and coworkers because I “have too much nail polish” (is there even such a thing?). Some of my readers have anywhere from 200 to over 1,000 bottles of nail polish. Some have it and don’t even wear it! (Hey, want my address? haha)
I’m itching to buy new polish. I ordered some online over a week ago that has not yet shipped – much to my disappointment. I was kind of hoping to start a new blog segment soon, but perhaps it’ll have to wait until next month.
What did you blog about this week? Did I miss anything good?
