Where did my week go? Oh, that’s right… I was sleeping.
I’m sure that sounds nice, right? Sleep. It always sounds good to me too. Except… I’ve been outrageous tired and yet on this weird, manic swing where I am having trouble sleeping and thus I’m super exhausted and end up passing out for 3-4 hours after work followed by insomnia leading to a horribly tiring day the next in which I repeat this horrible cycle I’m on.
It’s okay. I will get through it. I always find a way.
I’m going to try to get some blogging done today. Notice there hasn’t been a Doctor Who post in like 2 weeks? Yeah, I feel outrageously horrible about that. I haven’t even watched this last Saturday’s episode because I have been either working or sleeping. And… Review posts seem to take a lot more time for whatever reason. That, mixed with my growing distaste for Season 8 has caused a bit of a “meh” feeling whenever I try to write about it. I hate talking bad about Doctor Who. It’s easily the thing I geek out over most.
I’ve been trying to give myself a little bit of love with my social media. I’m still working on it and I have a long way to go. Perhaps you’ll find interest in these as well.
- Influenster: Influenster is a community of trendsetters, social media hotshots, and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences.
- Clever Girls Collective: A social media agency offering content marketing and native advertising at scale. You can sign up to work with brands… perhaps earn some cash.
- Female Geek Bloggers: Really great Google+ community if you’re looking for other geeky gals to connect with. I swear, we’re out there!
- Geek Girl Pen Pals: It’s basically what it sounds like – a place to connect with other geeks, including on an international level. It mixes classic pen palling (is that a word?) with modern day.
What are some good ways you’ve found to connect to others?
